Thanksgiving 2014 in Las Vegas

This was our second time in Vegas for the year but first time for Papa, Mama and Lily. Luckily this time, the Alimurong family (Matriarch is Tita Marcita, Papa's cousin) hosted our stay so we got to relax, tour and eat more!\:D/ (First time was work related and had hardly any downtime. I think we also got too relaxed that we barely had any pictures of our own so the sequence of events are now a blur :p)

Thanksgiving: We had a hearty Filipino feast prepared for us by the family and their friends. A prayer meeting was also held with Papa as the guest speaker.



Day after Thanksgiving: we checked out the Black Friday deals at Best Buy but as usual didn't buy anything. Then, we went to have our picture taken at the welcome sign. To temporarily refuel, we had afternoon snack/dinner at McDonalds then walked along the strip passing by Luxor, MGM, M&M's and Hershey's Store to name a few. We then had dinner/midnight meal in California Hotel - Home of the Oxtail Soup.


Saturday, Topeng was still feeling under the weather (aka allergies) so we stayed at the house while Papa and Mama explored during the day.  At night, we checked out The Linq and Fountains of Bellagio.

Sunday, we went to a church service. Then to an outlet (similar to Clark airbase...forgot the name of the place) to see if we can take advantage of Tita's military discount. The rest of the day was spent in Seafood City to stock up on some rare food finds. Jollibee and Chowking made up our meals for the day.
