Lily: 12 months - Ms. Phil Am

Our baby is now a year old! Lily went all out with this photoshoot (kasi baka last na to...LOL!). Panalo talaga smiling face at pagka-photogenic ng anak namin.:)) Praise the Lord!! :D Thank you, anak, for being the easygoing baby that you are and indulging us in this little vice of ours (aka your monthly photoshoots). I wish we could keep this up kaso baka di namin mapanindigan at malugi yung mga magiging kapatid mo...kung magkakaroon man. Hehehe!

Special thanks to Loley Emily for the Filipiniana attires.... all outfits specially altered for Lily. Mapapa-"Wala ka sa Lola ko!" moment ka talaga!:D Thanks to Tita Angel for  the set design...timing na timing ang assignment mo at nakapagpahinga ng konti ang nanay at tatay ni Lily sa pagprepare ng props. Hehe!

Lily: 11th month - Lilypad

In preparation for our trip to the Philippines to celebrate Lily's first birthday, a travel theme was chosen for this month. We were actually on time and on budget on this one.\:D/ Lily must have been showing off to Ninong Mat who was visiting during that time. :)) We didn't have to buy anything more for our set design and attire: existing decor map from Ikea, Tatay's favorite luggage from Urban (endorsement much? hehe) decorated with Tatay's patch collection , pilot hat from EBay previously bought by Tatay (twice!) , winter jacket imported from Paris given by Ninong Mat, scarf from Loley Emily and Jollibee just because we're going to the Philippines.

Lily: 10th month - The Explorer

Milestone: supported standing. Range rover from Lola Mommy Let bought from swap meet. Outfit composed of white onesie, white pants, red socks and the ever handy electrical tape. Philippine patch, US flag and rover logo from Tatay's patch collection. Tiger was made to look like an alien using the bunny ears from last month's shoot.

Lily: 9th month - Easter Lily Bunny

One of our most challenging shoots. Our little honey bunny is already crawling and we wanted to capture it. We had several sessions but still couldn't get the right blocking: Lily was all over the place and the angle of our make-shift carrot (carrot with cilantro pinned to look like a leaf) was just not right. Also, our model had a red rash on her cheek. Boo! The only easy thing was the props, which I bet you can guess where we got.;) 

Lily: 8th month - Lilybee Welcomes Spring

We were running out of ideas by now so we decided to incorporate the bee wings available for this month's theme. Dress from Walmart decorated with electrical tape for stripes.:p Butterfly and grass cutouts by Tatay and sunflower and tiger flower cutouts by Nanay.

Lily: 7th month - The Lily Cupid (TLC)

For the love month, this little sweetheart is flying us some raspberries. Props from our favorite store. Costume bought from Party City though we wouldn't recommend it because of the glitters and it looked more of a fairy rather than an angel. Bwehehe!

Lily: 6th month - New Year Baby

We couldn't decide which get-up we like better so we did both. Skyline was recycled from her 3rd month shoot. Props from our favorite store (you guessed it!). Fireworks created by Tatay from straws and last Christmas' decor. Tiger's cap is actually a musical toy bought by Loley Emily from Ikea. Cupcakes from Ninang Alpha.

Lily: 5th Month - Naughty or Nice

Our little Santa's costume was bought online by Tatay but was already too small for her at the time of this shoot. Garlands, gift bags and tiger's headband from our favorite 99c Store. Jollibee from the Alimurongs on our last Last Vegas trip. Christmas tree from Lola Let who visited that month. This is one of our favorites and it was used during her baby dedication.

Lily: 4th month - Happy Thanksgiving!

For the month of Thanksgiving, we wanted to show this cutie pie doing some assisted sitting. Since we're too cheap to buy a pilgrim costume, we had her wear a black shirt of mine on top of a black onesie. The apron was from her 2nd month pictorial and head gear and tiger's costume was a DIY cutout. The turkey and tiger's headgear was from our favorite 99c Store. After the pictorial, we realized that the set design was too bare this the fake cactus and sun.:))

Lily: 3rd month - It's a bird... It's a plane.. It's super Lily!!!

Milestone: Tummy time. We weren't quite satisfied with this thus two pictures. Deathstar by Tatay. Building cutout by Lolo. Nanay's afterthoughts: should have foregone the skirt and used the same color for the blankets so it would really look like she's flying.

Lily: 2nd month - What's cooking?

Lily: 1st month - Look what the stork brought in.

Trying to think of ways to do a monthly celebration for our little Kallai (aside from eating! :)) ), we decided to settle for some theme pictorials!!!
